The Merchants House combined
with a Georgian/Victorian shopfront.
The Shopfront can be fitted either on
the front or the end as pictured
Adds £80 to Merchants house
Very late Tudor style, although displaying a wealthy
owners use of close studding in the framework much used in earlier centuries .
This
version suits a period from Georgian onwards owing to the fitted bow window, An earlier version can still be fitted as a shop
but would not have a glass window but a hinged canopy over a fold down counter top, this would be like a pair of shutters turned horizontally and
many Tudor era shops operated in this manner
